In Bosnia the biggest threat to bees comes from Varroa. In that regard and following the best beekeepers techniques APIMED provided beekeepers with following products:

1. Thymovar - THYMOVAR is an organic product to control the Varroa mite (Varroa destructor) on bees (Apis mellifera) and contains the essential oil thymol.

2. Api Life Var  - API LIFE VAR is the organic solution for the treatment and prophylaxis in the fight against varroasis in bees and against tracheal mite.

3. OKSAL - is preparation of oxalic acid, water, sugar, propolis, and essential oils. OKSAL is a mixture of substances that are harmless to bees  and they leave no residue in the wax or the honey. An efficacy is up to 99% during the broodless period with a condition of summer treatment with one of the two thymol based medicines.

In modern beekeeping it is necessary to stimulate bees in spring time, or to intervene in time when there is no enough honey for wintering period. In that regard APIMED provided following products for bees:
